I use CrashPlan as my backup software and aside from it being dog-slow to upload, it's great. Problem I'm having though is the tray icon keeps disappearing from my tray, so I can't right-click and set it to "sleep" anymore after that. Even if I directly run the CrashPlanTray.exe it still doesn't want to show up. The only way to get it to show again is to reboot the whole computer! Does anyone know why this is or how to fix it?
Does anyone know how to temporarily hide those SpellCheck (red) and Grammar Check (green) squiggly underlines in Microsoft Word? I like them to be there most of the time, but sometimes they just annoy me and I want them off for a short time. It's too much of a pain in the a$$ to go all the way into the settings and tick the options to turn those off and then go back in and tick them back on, just for temporary toggling. It'd be great if there was a button or keyboard shortcut to toggle them on and off, but I can't find anything to do that?
I'm having a problem with the Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) since many versions now, and am at my wits end. I haven't been able to program my Logitech gaming mouse OR my Logitech gaming keyboard, so I can setup all of these buttons to do whatever I need. I've gone back and forth with the actual Logitech Support, including their highest tech level support, and they ended up not knowing what was wrong!!
I want to put some programs into my Send To folder? Is this possible?
Thanks in advance!
hi all. Suddenly my CrashPlan tray icon is gray all the time and when I try to start the backup again it hangs for a while, and then shows the message:
With Yes and No buttons. No matter how many times I click the Yes button, I just keep getting this same message. I DON'T want to have to do a full re-install just to fix their stupid, broken software! It was working just fine and then just suddenly stopped. Does anyone can help me?
Hi everyone. I'm looking for a website that always has the latest version of the x265_ml.exe video encoder, to download? The pre-compiled Windows binary. I've searched high and low and am just having NO luck, so I came to you gurus for assistance.
I have a large Plex library that I rip my own BluRay movies to, and I've been playing around with various video ripping and encoding software. I often get files that visually seem pretty much identical, but have varying file sizes. sometimes I include different audio tracks, different subtitle languages, and other stuff, but I am also trying to keep the library from using as much hard drive as possible. Every little bit counts!
Is there a quick way in Directory Opus to calculate the size difference between 2 files?
Sometimes you just plain need to see what in God's name is going on behind the scenes, of your Plex Media Server, whether it's for trying to pinpoint an issue (like in our tutorial: Plex Media Server - Search - Nothing Found - Solution for example), or just outright curiosity. Well, it's easy.
Made some changes to your Plex folders outside of the Plex interface, such as recently added files, movies, music, or whatever, and need to have PMS see them NOW instead of waiting for it's scheduled update check?
Want to make sure your PMS library is nice and cleaned up, running fast, not using up unnecessary bloat on your hard drive, etc.?
I've recently run into a long lasting problem with my Plex Media Server (PMS), where doing any search, be it in the PMS web interface itself, or any of Plex's apps, would always end up with "No matches found." Even if I was looking directly AT matches right on the screen, with my very own eyes (which are still pretty good, I might add, even at my age. ).
