I currently have a complicated Drupal site with forums and am thinking about switching to Wordpress, but want to keep all of my forum posts and comments, is it possible to do this?
When I'm watching TV and a call comes in a Caller ID screen pops up during my show and tells me who it is that's calling. Id like to be able to see a similar pop up if I'm on my computer instead of in front of my TV. Can anyone help me?
OK this may sound like a weird thing to want to do. If you have a PC that has no password associated with it and you lock it all you do is click back in and you don't need to enter in a password. Well I have built a home theater PC and I have it joined to my Domain so it has to have a password because it's a domain user. I created a policy preference and associated it to the PC that will create the registry key's that will allow this pc to log in automatically. But what I'm wanting is to lock the machine and not need to enter in the password to unlock it.
Can anyone help me this is driving me bat! I'm using Firefox 16 64 bit and whenever I play any video my mouse cursor gets very laggy and choppy, especially when moving the cursor over the video itself. I'm completely updated with my Adobe Flash
and FF but it still happens. I never had this problem in FF 15. Is there some way to downgrade without losing my settings and stuff?
I updated my Firefox to version 16 and where I used to be able to middle-click on links to open them in a new tab, now NOTHING happens when I do it. No new tab opens or anything. I've looked through all of my settings and can't find anything that has changed from my previous settings regarding opening middle-clicked links in a new tab / window. HALP!
Windows doesn't make finding it's own Cleanup Utility very easy, does it? So your friends here on GeekDrop are going to show you how to quickly create a shortcut to it right on your desktop, which of course can then be moved wherever else you want it, if not on the Desktop. So, here are the steps to Create a Shortcut to Windows Disk Cleanup:
So I recently ran into another hair-pulling issue trying to install the latest drivers for my Nvidia Graphics Card (which happens to be a 560Ti DirectCUii, not that it matters
) on Windows 7
x64, where the installer would cough up an error saying "NVIDIA Installer failed". This happened over and over no matter what I did ... and I was sad.
(more like pissed off actually) ...
Hey Dogg,
I want to be able to schedual automatic backups of my sql database. Right now I have phpmyadmin handling the db and I have successfully been able to manually backup the dB, restore it to new DB, then copy the site into new directory and point to the new DB.
I want to create a system of linked pages on a drupal 7 site. What is the best way to go about this?
I've seen people post where you link to the node ID of the page but I cannot seem to figure out where I find the ID?
I'm trying to get drupal installed but I'm running into a few errors during the install. Here is a screnshot.
Let me add that I am using an app called "appserve" wich installs all I need to run a site myself. I've been using it for a long time now and never had any issue installing a cms site before.
