How much database overhead should I allow before I optimize?

I'm running my first website on my own server and I was wondering how much database overhead I should allow before I should Optimize it so that there isn't any speed loss on my site? And can you tell me how to clear the overhead? I use MySQL and PHPMyAdmin to administer my site database. TIA!

Where can I get RSS feeds for company Stocks?

I have a cisco Digital media Manager server here at work that I've been working on for a while now. What it does is allow me to pump out content to individual boxes called digital media players. They will be hooked up to tv's through out the company and alow me to manage what get's played where and when. It's all a form of digital signage. Anyway the players will do RSS feeds. I want to evnetually be able to have a little rss feed of our company's stock and what it's doing. Also along with that I'd like to do the same with some of our competitors.

If you are getting a java web start splash: recv failed error message box when trying to run any java scripts / programs, the issue is related to your Comodo Firewall not allowing the javaws.exe program to run.

AMT Subsystem Failure - Adobe

When I try to run Adobe Acrobat Pro after a couple of minutes it shows me a dialog box saying

AMT Subsystem Failure

with just an OK button that closes the entire Acrobat when I click it. What gives?

Firefox freezing until I move my mouse to the tab bar?

I'm using Firefox 5 although this was also happening on version 4, when I have a lot of tabs open or if I run it for too long navigating to a web page will stop loading until I move my mouse cursor over the tab bar. I used to have a problem where I just needed to move the mouse to get the page to finish loading but oddly even that doesn't really work now, it has to be moved over the tab bar at the top of the browser window. Does anyone else have this problem?

Organize TUTS (Tutorials)

I need to figure out what software I could get that would allow me to organize all the TUTS...PDF..DOC...Html...SWF in one databse.
this would allow me to add description, show me a preview pane of the actual tut/doc and maybe allow me to share?

I need a search function too...I tried looking but the best I think im going to be able to do is use MDB..and that bloated

Tkc made his own tut viwer, and that was the general idea but now things are more advance then your standard txt...

How Do I Create A DVD From AVI Files?

Hey what do you use to create a DVD from downloaded avi files? I used nero in the past but didn't want to install the whole nero package just to do that one thing if I din't have to. Since I can't stream my stuff up to my bedroom I wanted to start watching 24 season 2 up there so figured I'd make a few dvd's.
