My boss wants me to get back to working on a website for our SE group. It's been a while since I messed with sites.
I need something with a good calendar, forum and a really nice way to hose documentation. We have a bunch of docs on how to do things and we want a nice neat easy way for our engineers to have access to these docs.
Also want a good built in instant messenger and chat room.
During games like SWTOR I often accidentally click just past the edge of the screen when I don't want to, and it minimizes the game on my main monitor, making me click it in the taskbar to bring it up again and wait for it to load. Is there some way to disable the second monitor for certain programs? Like, only for SWTOR, have the game think that there's only 1 monitor instead of 2, so even if I click outside of the window frame it won't do anything?
Here's my problem, I have a shortcut to the regular 32 bit version of Firefox which I use as my main browser because there isn't a real 64 bit version of it to use (common already Mozilla! Get with the #$(*# times!! ), BUT I also have a shortcut to the FF Nightly version which is 64 Bit. Stick with me here!
Is there some way to disable the Low Disk Space message that keeps coming up in my system tray? OK, I get it, it's low and there's nothing I can do right now to add more space, quit bugging me!!
I have been having crashes in some games like The Old Republic and there's a folder with some .dmp files and some .json files. The .json files are in plain text so they are easily read but the .dmp files look scrambled or like they could be executable files. Does anyone know if there is some way to view their contents? Maybe some program I can download? Or is the information only available for the developers to see?
I'm new to FRAPS and while I'm trying to record some in-game video, it keeps randomly stopping on it's own when I don't want it to! Help?
When I import videos into Windows Live Movie Maker the video preview screen is all black, all I get when I press the play button is the audio sounds. Any suggestion plz?
This is driving me crazy! I have uTorrent set to auto-start with windows on start up and every single time I boot into Windows the message box that says "This program is freeware. If you paid for it, you have been scammed, and you should get a refund." shows. I have clicked the OK button once a long time ago and it stopped showing, but decided to start again all by itself, and no matter how many times I click the OK button, it just keeps showing up again each time I reboot. Is there a registry key or something or an option somewhere to turn this annoying message off?
Can someone help me with editing videos without having to do a whole re-encode?
I'm running my first website on my own server and I was wondering how much database overhead I should allow before I should Optimize it so that there isn't any speed loss on my site? And can you tell me how to clear the overhead? I use MySQL and PHPMyAdmin to administer my site database. TIA!
