A couple of weeks ago I got a Acer Aspire One netbook. I really love the little thing however I have noticed one issue that was driving me nuts and from what I have read alot of folks are having the same issue. When I got the netbook I registered it with no problem but now I'm getting pop-ups every single hour that says "Your Acer product is registered!". Yes I know this but enough with the pop-ups, here is what I was seeing

I installed a USB 3.0 card on my computer and let me tell ya the speeds. Transferring from a internal hard drive to a external USB 3.0 hard drive a file that was 2.08GB took a total of 24 seconds, I ran the test twice.
The upgrade wasn't that expensive to do

OK I can get a 160GB SSD Drive for $500 or

Well, well , well what do we have here? Looks like Microsoft is jumping into the table/ebook game with the "Microsoft Courier". Its just that this one is different. Here is a look as it was posted on engadget

alright, so i got a new computer, which i love, now heres my massive problem, all the connections on the new computer are SATA, all the connections on my old comptuer are 40 pin, see my problem?

I think I'm going to bite the bullet and get a new computer. The computer I'm on now has seen better days. Here is what I'm wondering, what do I do with my old computer? I would like to donate it but I've heard of folks stealing personal information from old computers. Hell I can't afford the credit cards I have let alone if someone went on a shopping spree.

First when you shop for a hard drive you need to keep two things in mind.

If your replacing your main Hard drive or you simply want to back the whole thing up you can and its pretty easy to do. So what is cloning a hard drive? That is simply making a total copy of it onto another hard drive (for a back up). So why can't you just simply cut and paste it into the new hard drive? Well its simply not that easy, you can do that for some folders but not for all of them.

The other day I upgraded my laptop with more memory (RAM). I thought perfect opportunity to make a video and to show how easy it really is to do, very little skill needed.
First, prior to purchasing any memory you need to do your homework. Go to the website of the manufacturer of your laptop and search for your laptop model number. Once you locate your model number you need to look on the "Specs" tab or Specs information. So, what are you looking for? Well, to see if your laptop can handle any additional RAM, and how much you can add. Here's an example:
