I'm shopping around for a new video card for my pc and am utterly confused with all of the options and terminology! Some cards have the same name but with a "TI" attached to it, does anyone know what the TI stands for, and does that mean it's better or worse??
Hi! I hope I am posting this question in the right subforum.
My old LCD monitor at work went kaput yesterday and I had to get a "new to me" monitor from the extra supplies of hardware.
The settings on my laptop monitor look fine for the most part, but the external monitor applications and desktop fonts and icons are way too large and not "crisp" - they are a bit blurry. In my Microsoft Excel 2003, all the cells look as if they are bolded but they are not. My Outlook box is HUGE and people can see if from across the room.

I have a Flash Drive and an external usb working just fine but with my ext/int usb drive Win 7
keeps forgetting that it is formatted. Manage and minitool partition both see it and all folders read/write - all partitions are NTFS- drive is 1Tb Hitachi with its own power supply. I have spent days on the net trying to esolve this.
I just bought a new PSU (Power supply) for my computer and it has a red switch on the back of it that goes between 115V and 230V. It's on 115V right now so if I switch it to 230V will it give my computer better performance?

My Comcast Digital Cable box is showing the letters "EAS" on the front of it and I wasn't able to change the channel for a while but now I can, the EAS is still on the front though, does anyone know what this means?

So I've finally decided to get a new set of speakers for my computer. I do alot of gaming and listening to music on them, often LOUD
I'm not trying ot spend a ton of money on them though either because I know that you can get excellent quality sound out of very low priced budget sound systems, but I don't knwo what the best are these days. Does anyone know what the best sounding, budget computer speakers are these days?

Hi Guys!
Thanks so much for all the help you've previously given me. Now, I have a new question, of course. I am installing a wireless mouse and keyboard, but the cd will not come on to give me the instructions for installation. What should I do? Any ideas juliek
Some of my Comcast channels are showing me a message saying "One moment please, this channel should be available shortly, Ref code: S0a00". And no matter how long I wait the channel never comes in. Does anyone know what this means or how to fix it?

Sometimes you may need to know what kind of signal you're getting to your Comcast CableBox, to help diagnose if you have some sort of problem. Maybe a loose cable, or whatnot. Here's how to do it.
Note: This is for the Comcast Digital HDTV Cable Box (Model DCH3200) (Fig-1). Most likely it will work on other models though.
