So the son's 1 year warranty is expiring this week on his laptop. They have offered me another 2 (maybe 3 can't remember) year warranty for $300. Is this worth it or not? What do you think?
This Acer Aspire One laptop has win Xp home edition with sp3service pack installed ! 1gb ram. This is a brand new laptop from Target. I can't get it to connect to wifi !
When I do get it to connect it says connected but when I open Firefox or IE it doesn't connect to internet !
I think its just the wifi settings but cant figure this out !
i'm getting this message after messing with settings :
Want to have fun with your neighbors - change you WIFI network name so when they go looking or try and steal it they see the name. Yep freak out your annoying neighbors and sit back and laugh. Here are some funny examples
Hey guys,
I've done a little looking around on Newegg.com but havn't had a lot of time to do the research. I have 2 500 gig sata drives just sitting on my desk colecting dust and want to putt them to use. I would like to get a couple external enclosures for these things so I can add them into my network for simple storage.
Well if your one of the lucky ones who live in New York City then this weekend you can check out Wired Holiday Store 2009.
The store will feature cool gadgets, demos, a gaming lounge, GeekDad Saturdays, and laptop giveaways.
If your like me and like most people as soon as you get a new computer one of the first thing you do is pull off all of that bloat ware that is placed on them. So why do computers come with so much bloat ware? Well it helps them keep cost down. I mean I think most come with built in anti virus, that free 90 day trial one. Why do they do that because they want you to be protected? No they do that because the anti-virus company pays them to do it. Adding bloat ware to a computer allows them to keep the cost down.
I thought I would do a little tutorial on how to clean the inside of a computer. Its one thing that many people do not do out of fear. It really is simple and should be done on a regular basis to keep your PC in optimal running performance.
Lately it seems that son o'mines laptop is overheating. It gets really hot sometimes almost too hot to touch on the bottom. Once or twice its shut down by itself, IMO due to overheating, I know this is bad. What can I do to cool it down besides shutting it off? It's annoying and its interfering with my Mafia Wars time
