My daughter is busting my chops to get her a netbook for school. If kids need computers in school why don't schools then give them one. What should I be looking for? What is the difference between netbooks and laptops, what should I look for? She is pretty good in school. Oh and she said she needs a Thumb Drive. What the hell is a Thumb Drive?

I was getting ready to format a external hard drive to FAT32 and the only option I have besides NTFS is exFAT. Any clue on what exFAT is and is it compatible with FAT32?
