So when does ones privacy and National Security go to far? On Thursday there was a new law passed under the Obama administration giving Homeland Security more rights to search your computer and any electronic device you may have while traveling. OK I'm all for the National Security but I think this new ruling goes overboard. In the past when going though security you are required to remove any laptop or electronic device to be scanned individually. There have been some occasions when they might even ask you to turn them on. I know I had that happen to me

With school there are always some good deals to be had on Flash Drives and some really cool designs out there. I thought we could share and show some here..
I was at Office Depot today and they had some great ones. I picked up these today for the kids (both colors) - click the pics to see them (I only paid $14.99 in the store)

The Dell Latitude 2100 is a pretty cool laptop and is aimed toward the student market. It has a LED strip at the top of the edge of the lid that lights up whenever the computer is connected to either a wired or wireless network. This gives both parents and teachers the heads up if the kid goes online, pretty genius I think. However, here's a way for the kids to disable that giveaway sign and surf unbeknownst to parents and teachers. It is also easily reconnected. Check out how to do it

8GB New Nano ipod's only $49.00, that is a $100.

hello! so i think i've figured out what's wrong with my laptop. the problem is that it won't charge anymore. i've gotten other power cords and none work. well, let me rephrase, for a period of time i was able to hold the cord at an angle and it would charge a little, now it just won't anymore.
so i think i've got a pretty good guess that it's something hardware-wise that's preventing the laptop from accepting the power source.

Well pictures are worth a million words so here you go:

If your looking for a laptop get it while its hot. I'm guessing these will sell out the day they hit the stores

We know computers are constantly changing, but take a look at what we can expect from a laptop a few years down the road. While I do love some of them, I'm not so sure about the Cario,
I do love it's style and although it only operates while the car is stationary, I still don't think its a good idea. Wayyy too distracting.

Ok even if you are or are not a HP fan you have to find this pretty darn awesome. This took some time to set up and to get it to run...
OK for some reason the vid wont post here correctly so go check it out:

Ok I think we have all seen some pretty stupid tech toys over time. Some made us laugh and some well they make you think
were they on when they came up with this. Here is one of those in my opinion ":wtf: were they thinking". Meet the USB powered chainsaw - the iSaw.
