Comcast announced it is kicking off a new program of wireless to go. Its 4g data card will cost you around $49.99 and will be bundled with home internet or $69.99 nation wide. They will be kicking it off tomorrow in Portland, Oregon and then they will follow it by launching it in Atlanta, Chicago and Philly. The nation wide card will access the web though sprint/nextels 3g network where 4g is not available. They are using what they call WiMax to blanket areas for better coverage.

That is right, Disney is putting out a netbook for kids. It should hit the stores (Toys-R-Us) sometime in July for around $350.00. The kiddie netbook will have a 8.9" display (LCD), the OS will be windows XP Home and it will come with roughly 40 parental controls to keep the kiddies safe. It will also be wi-fi ready.

Well according to reports the sale of netbooks is decreasing and that some of the smaller notebooks are showing up again. It nice to have something small that you can toss into a bag easily and use. Laptops are nice but sometimes can be a little on the large size to carry around yet a netbook, media table and a cell phone might not offer enough for you.
So what is the difference between netbooks and notebooks?

So wired did a story on ppl having "Buyers Remorse" that products they though would last them years are only being replaced after a few months - is this fair to the consumer. I know we always want the newest most best product but some times I think the manufactures jump the guns to put a product out there only to come out with a upgrade product a few months later. Its almost like there needs to be a technology etiquette. I know microsoft tends to come out with a new OS like every 3 years or so, I think that is fair. I know that office 2007 seam

Ok so here is some CrAzY new tech gear - its not your standard pc out of the box

Ming Vase? Nope its a computer. You have to admit that is a bizzare one. Who would think of making a computer to look like a vase.

Let's look at some facts here...
#1. Laptop batteries are not cheap to replace.
#2. Over a short period of time (1-2 years) the charge a laptop battery holds diminishes.
#3. Many of us use our laptop while keeping it plugged in.
Well guess what? That last one, #3... that right there... it adds to #2... which causes us to revert to #1

Ok if your operating systems is Vista one way you can speed it up and optimize it is to use a feature called "Readyboost". What readyboost does is it allows your pc to use more memory. Its memory that is not on the hard drive but located on a Flash Drive. Since your not constantly accessing the hard drive your computer goes faster, a pc can access a Flash Drive
faster then a hard drive. If you have a extra Flash Drive
laying around (has to be atleast 215 MB) and a extra USB port then your good to go. I have mine flash plugged into the back of my tower so

Well its always fun to have some cool gadget but some of these mice are plain out strange.

this one is kinda cool - it massages your hand and has a fan if you have sweaty palms (maybe a gamer)

Well we talked about it in another thread: Zune HD with touchscreen but it was all based on rumors. Microsoft has officially announced the Zune HD
