When I import videos into Windows Live Movie Maker the video preview screen is all black, all I get when I press the play button is the audio sounds. Any suggestion plz?

That's a bug with the NvidiaNvidia Video drivers. You need at least version 290.36, but right now in order to get it you'll have to get the beta drivers.

How to get the latest NvidiaNvidia Graphics Driver updates including Beta releases:

  1. Go to the updater by right-clicking your desktop & clicking the Nvidia Control panel menu item, or look for it in your Windows Control Panel

  2. Click Help > Updates menu items

  3. Preferences Tab

  4. Make sure "Graphics Driver" is checked, and check "Include Beta Updates"

  5. Click Apply

  6. Click Help > Updates menu items again

  7. On the Updates tab click the "Check For Updates ..." button and grab the latest updates.

Once you update and restart your computer you should be able to see the video playing in the Windows Live Movie Maker preview window.
