Why does FRAPS stop recording on it's own?

I'm new to FRAPS and while I'm trying to record some in-game video, it keeps randomly stopping on it's own when I don't want it to! Help?

The unregistered version only records for a short time and auto-stops, also, if you're still on a FAT32 filesystem, you'll only be able to record a maximum file size of 4GB. Screen recording apps can record 4GB surprisingly fast.
