I have a blog idea and thought of the PERFECT name for it but it's already registered. The person has done nothing with the domain for years so I think they're just squatting on it to get paid an outrageous amount. It expires next week and I want to try to 'steal / snatch / hijack' it out from under their noses , does anyone know if GoDaddy
expires all domains at a certain time in a certain timezone? Like, if it says it expires on 9-11-12 does it expire exactly at midnight in for example the Eastern Time Zone? Please hurry and tell me!
Hello! I play games a lot and when I do I almost always need to start at least 3 programs each time. The game itself, Teamspeak and Dxtory. Can anyone help me find a way to start all of them at once with a single shortcut or click? A launcher app or something? I would be MOST grateful!
I have a frustrating problem, I have multiple versions of Photoshop installed on my computer (Windows 7) and I already had Photoshop CS5
added to my "Open With" menu and now that I have CS6 installed I can't add THAT one to my "Open With" menu instead! I've tried using the browse button and selecting the CS6 version but it keeps adding it as the CS5
version. Is there some way to edit the Open With menu so I can replace the CS5
version with the CS6 version? I need to keep CS5
on my computer for the time being or else I'd just uninstall it and I'm sure it'd be no problem then.
I've been using VLC to play my videos for a long time and while fidgeting with the settings I must've changed one that causes my Windows Theme to switch to Basic every time I open it up, and I hate that it does that but I can't find the setting that will stop it from switching, can anyone please help?
It's a method of sending so much data to one computer / IP Address, usually, but not always, a simple "ping", that it essentially gets flooded, can't handle it, and either gets completely knocked offline, or becomes so slow that for all practical purposes that computer, or even website, becomes unusable.
Youtube doesn't make it very obvious, so if you've never done one and are having trouble finding the "button" to post a video response, it's easy.
If you want to avoid typing the whole (http://www.domain.com)... just type the site name and hold the Ctrl key and press enter. Works for .com sites mostly (ie) pepsi then hold Ctrl and press enter, it will Automatically enter the http://www. for you. IE and Firefox.
I have a new LCD monitor and just noticed while playing SWTOR this weekend that it has a really annoying bright yellow pixel that stays there all the time. The crazy thing is I only see it when playing that game (I haven't looked with other games yet) and when I log out of the game I no longer see the pixel lit up in regular Windows. Does anyone know WHY it only shows in the game, and how to fix a stuck pixel? Thx!
