Just a friendly reminder; for the love of all things holy, don't fall for this if it lands in your inbox ...
This ransomware just landed in mine (actually via the contact form here, which is just another laughable red flag; if they had all of this info they'd use a more direct line to me). It seems so blantantly obvious on so many levels that it's fake that's it's astonishing to think anyone would fall for it, but those gullible ones do apparently exist, hopefully our dear readers aren't among them.
There are ample examples of it happening all over YouTube, but the reported players never lose their accounts. This example is yet another of 'TyzerDurden' (playing as Han Solo in this video) using cheats, a.k.a. "hacks" in-game, recorded last night, 9/13/2019.
I haven't logged into used Facebook for months, probably well over a year but several recent notifications dated in the last month have been marked as seen. I'm worried that smeone has hacked my account but I don't know of any other activity. Does anyone know of any other reason for this - could there be a bug in facebook for instance? Anyone else had the same issue.?
Thanks.
Hello there!
I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site? I'm getting tired of Wordpress because I've had issues with hackers and I'm looking at alternatives for another platform.
I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

I have a blog idea and thought of the PERFECT name for it but it's already registered. The person has done nothing with the domain for years so I think they're just squatting on it to get paid an outrageous amount. It expires next week and I want to try to 'steal / snatch / hijack' it out from under their noses , does anyone know if GoDaddy
expires all domains at a certain time in a certain timezone? Like, if it says it expires on 9-11-12 does it expire exactly at midnight in for example the Eastern Time Zone? Please hurry and tell me!
It's a method of sending so much data to one computer / IP Address, usually, but not always, a simple "ping", that it essentially gets flooded, can't handle it, and either gets completely knocked offline, or becomes so slow that for all practical purposes that computer, or even website, becomes unusable.
Ever hear of a DOS program? I know someone who is having one used against her system at home and she doesn't know how to stop it.
She's saying some kid got a hold of her home ip address and is using a DOS (denial of service) program to bombard her router or modem or whatever so she cant get service. Everything is bogged down.
It looks like the hackers have been very active lately! Maybe it's the freezing cold weather keeping them from going outside and socializing? Oh wait, it's summer...
According to the people on AndroidForums.com their community has been compromised by hackers and you need to change your password there NOW. For more details, see this post: AndroidForums hacked.
It's starting to get a bit ridiculous lately, huh? Sites are being hacked by the dozens it seems. Even if you choose a solid password you're not necessarily safe. The best thing you can do aside from choosing a strong password is to be sure never to use the same password on more than one website.
While there are security alerts almost every day, we feel that this particular matter should come to your attention. Microsoft has issued a temporary fix for the problem until they can have a full update. This fix may or may not apply to your computer.
Please read carefully the information we're sharing below.
