So I went to Walmart this morning. There were probably 25 people in line for them. My Walmart had a bunch of them (whole pallet) so there were plenty but they were limiting it to one per person. I did snag 3 since I had my kids with me. I'm only keeping 1 the other 2 are going to my work. The kids were not happy about getting up early so we went to breakfast at Dennys after 
Oh if you want to get the extended warrantee you can get the Walmart one that extends it for 3 years and that runs $59.99 I did buy the extended warrantee for them all, I think for laptops its a good idea.

Looks pretty nice. I like that it has the number keypad on the side. I really hate that about laptops. I bet it would run Linux like a champ. Dual boot maybe?
I agree about the number pad on the side. My mom has a IBM (Leveno) thinkpad and it doesn't, huge pain in the butt. I have a 17" HP that does and I love it. For the price you can't go wrong. My mom went and got 2 more and dropped them off to me. So now I have a total of 5 sitting in front of me but I'm still only keeping one for the kids. The rest are going to my office. Since I'll be home from Tues. thru Friday with my son recovering from surgery I'll be playing with them all. Removing all the bloat ware you get and adding the programs I need for my salespeople. Plus I'll be taking over admin rights on them so they dont go installing a bunch of crap and trashing them.
The hard drive is 160GB so you would have to partition it to dual boot. If your going to do that I would probably drop the vista and go to XP since its a smaller OS. With 160GB you might be limited.
Oooh! i hope they keep this price around for a little while! this winter i'll be looking to make a laptop purchase!
