External monitor not working?

i was wondering if u culd help me out here, i got monitor tht i can connect to this acer aspire 1one, and the laptop seems to pick up on the monitor, only when it wants to

Re: external monitor not working ?

Make sure the sec monitor and laptop have same resolution. Also you need to go into the properties and tell the laptop that yes it has a second monitor. Right click on the laptop monitor and go into properties and do it that way.
