alright, so i just upgraded to the new version of Firefox, and for once there seems to be a problem on here that i cant find a work around with, on this one site called vampirefreaks, if you choose to IM a member, the link opens in one of those new browser windows that have no controls or toolbars, just the window and the url at the top of the window, well now every time i try to open one of those kinda links, its instead opens in a new tab, and its annoying as hell
This past week I purchased a Sony HD video camera. Its easy to use and I really like it...until I found it uses only .MTS format. Well Sony isn't the only one who uses this so does Cannon. Let me tell you I'm not so thrilled with that. First you can't upload to YouTube and it wont play with VLC Media player (unless you like choppy videos). It does however play with Windows Live Media Player. You can edit it with "Windows Live Movie Maker" but then it saves it as a .wlmp format. So I though OK let me just convert it. That was n
Windows 7 users should block KB971033, now arriving via Windows Update (see what to look for, below)
Today I purchased a new netbook and it came with Windows 7 Starter. Most netbooks you see out there come either with Windows XP home or Windows 7
Starter. They do that because they are easier to run with smaller hardware (memory, CPU, graphics). Well all I can say is Windows 7
starter does really suck. I love Windows 7
but this is way to stripped down.
I'd like to convert a few avi files to formats that I can burn to dvd and later watch on a dvd player. Seems like ConvertXtoDVD was the proggy that I used to use, but now its no longer freeware. I'm wondering if you guys could offer an alernative.....
thanks

At work I use MS Outlook for my emails. Needless to say my inbox can build up fast and it never fails that I have to go searching for that one email that John Smith sent me 2 or 3 weeks ago about some meeting.
I downloaded Shrink Pic and it works exactly like it says it does. Its free which is always nice and there is a cool demo that shows you exactly how to use it. Shrink Pic runs on Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
Shrink Pic automatically reduces the size for email, IM, blogging and web galleries but doesn't change the size of the original copy.
