Does anyone know how to bridge a connection on Windows 7? its for how to use your lap top with directv so i can use on demand.. they sell a wirless for the directv.. but its 80 bucks.. why spend that when my mini can do the same?

Last night I was trying to pin my GodMode to my taskbar (Windows 7) when I discovered I couldn't, it simply would not stick. Windows 7
is awesome but its fun to tweek it. Needless to say I needed my Quick Launch on it. Well Quick Launch is still on Windows you just have to know how to get it. Here is a normal Windows 7
task bar:

I have a problem in Windows 7 where I can't get my windows to go on top of the taskbar. If I maximize a window, the top of the window sits under the bottom of the taskbar. I like it the old way where you can maximize over the taskbar so I can get just that little bit of extra room. Some windows when starting a program even get "stuck" under it so I cant grab the titlebar and move the window. I have to change the cursor to the resize cursor on the side or bottom and resize it a bit, which snaps it below the taskbar, but that doesnt always work.

I've heard of Firefox in the past and in julie's post and she mentioned it. I've also noticed that some have badges that say "I use Firefox". Sorry if I sound really stupid asking this.

Can anyone help me? I acquired an old PC and it has a power on password. Is there a way I can bypass this without removing the battery?

OK this is really annoying the crap out of me. At work I have a new computer but for some reason Java script wont work in Firefox (its fine in IE). I've downloaded it and I've installed it, checked all the boxes and still nothing.
All I see is this message:
Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

In today's mail I received my ThinkGeek catalog. Actually my kids got it before I did and well they want 3/4 of the items inside of it. I finally snagged it back and I must say they have some great stuff. If you don't happen to get the catalog you can check them out online at thinkgeek.com

Alrighty, so most techie people know that iGoogle is wonderful to have. It lets you put bookmarks, your search bar, quotes of the day, Wired news, etc all in one place. Gmail also shows up in your iGoogle. Now, I've never had a problem before today, but my inbox won't show up on iGoogle, and if I click the link from there, it won't bring up gmail. Now, I can go to the address bar and type "gmail.com" and have it come up fine...
Anyone else having trouble with iGoogle/gmail?

So you installed Windows 7 and you noticed that it took up a ton of room and now your left with little hard drive room. Well don't panic it really didn't. When you did your custom install what Windows 7
does is basically backs up that drive and puts it in a folder. Why does it do that well for those who might have forgotten to grab their saved items in their documents they can still get to them. Now if you have made sure that you have everything (you backed up your document, pictures....) then you can go in and delete that back up folder and re-gain your space.

With Windows 7 comes lots of great new features. Kudos to Microsoft for really thinking them out because they knocked it out of the ball park. So with all the new features comes new keyboard shortcuts to quick launch the shortcuts. Here is a guide to the shortcuts on a keyboard:
