I was just going to say the same thing
Another nice thing about Firefox is that you can really customize it to your liking. There are all types of add ons. One of my favorite addons is called Adblock. Here is two screen shots of my myspace home page (since your familiar with myspace) - one in internet explorer and one in Firefox:
IE:
FF:
Notice on the internet explorer there are ads on it and on Firefox there is none? Well with Firefox and the addon adblock I never see those ads. Not just on myspace but any site. That is just one example of a addon there are tons of them. If you use adblock we also have a tracker blocker that will make your surfing safer on the web - check it out: How to Block Trackers
yea thats one thing that i forgot to mention is that Firefox is really good for user made addons that make your internet usage so much more fun and enjoyable,
Do I have to pick one over the other? I dont even remember my saved passwords so I guess I'll stick to internet explorer.
Nope you sure dont. You can have multiple browsers and you can use them at the same time too. When your installing Firefox it will ask you if you would like to import all of your passwords and your home page so you will be ok with the password issue.
and after you import your passwords from internet explorer to Firefox (Firefox setup imports them for you, all you have to do it click the bubble that says you want it to) you can throw in the addon called password exporter, what it does is it takes all your stored passwords from Firefox (that would be imported from Ie) and save to the an easy to read text file, then you can actually go 2 the text file and look at what your login was for the sites you forgot,
Do you mean if my daughter saved her passwords on the computer it would show them along with her log in? That would be sweet. How do I find this addon? I still haven't downloaded Firefox but I think I might try it out.
Well I have never checked out the addon that Niebr posted (but I will) however YES you can get all of that information. Once you get Firefox to view the website URL, login ID and passwords all you have to do is go to the very top click Tools> options > security > show all passwords. Its really very easy to do.

Firefox is another Internet browser just like Internet explorer, or Netscape, or aol browser, yet its open source software, which means that its viewable and editable and re-distributable by its users, (ex. us), i find it much easier and much more safe to use than other any other browser,
