I have a problem in Windows 7 where I can't get my windows to go on top of the taskbar. If I maximize a window, the top of the window sits under the bottom of the taskbar. I like it the old way where you can maximize over the taskbar so I can get just that little bit of extra room. Some windows when starting a program even get "stuck" under it so I cant grab the titlebar and move the window. I have to change the cursor to the resize cursor on the side or bottom and resize it a bit, which snaps it below the taskbar, but that doesnt always work.

Anyone know how to make it so I can move windows on top of the taskbar?

I use Windows 7 also GS but I run ultramon a dual monitor program so mine is slighly different. Did you try right clicking on the task bar, choose properties then play with it there some? You can always Auto hide the taskbar - just a thought
