It's starting to get a bit ridiculous lately, huh? Sites are being hacked by the dozens it seems. Even if you choose a solid password you're not necessarily safe. The best thing you can do aside from choosing a strong password is to be sure never to use the same password on more than one website.
Another website gets bit! If you're a Formspring user who thought you were anonymous when asking people questions you might wanna think again.
According to a blog post last night on Formspring they were hacked:
Even if you win a drunken bowling tournement you get a cool shirt and maybe a trophy of a bronzed beer bottle to display on your bedroom dresser.
Osama Bin Laden is officially dead due to a military action of the United States, reportedly in Pakistan.
For years the United States has had Bin Laden's DNA on record for a moment like this, to be able to confirm his death. His corpse is reportedly in United States custody.
Now that Bin Laden is dead, the real question is, do you all think that terrorism, IED's, suicide bombers, and so on will actually end? Or will it have no other impact on the war on terror other than a symbolic one?
A home video has been released created by Jared Loughner himself just before shooting Gabrielle Giffords, and murdering others, including a little girl, in Arizona. In the home video you hear him talking to the camera, rambling incoherently about students being tortured, the war being illegal under the constitution due to currency, becoming homeless, amongst other things. You also hear him yell to a teacher that he's pissed off that the teacher gave him a B grade which also caused Loughner to lose his freedom of speech.
So if you're an Amazon Affiliate (someone who partners with Amazon.com, sending customers to them in order to get a cut of a potential sale) like thousands of us out there, guess what? If you're also from Illinois you just got the shaft, thanks to a new "Internet Tax" law passed in that state. Way to go guys! You fail miserably at managing your money, so you stick it to us!
Here's the email Amazon.com sent to all of it's Illinois Publishers:
so they played an old favorite bit of mine on Howard Stern
today that caused me to uncontrollably have a Youtube stroll down memory lane for my favorite (

WikiLeaks Site Is Down (Offline)
Looks like Wikileaks, after some vigilante-ish furious DDoS'ing attempts, has finally been "knocked" offline. Was it due to the work of the DDoS'ers? Newp, it's Domain Name Service (DNS) was removed by the free DNS service provider that they were using ...
EveryDNS.net provided domain name system (DNS) services to the wikileaks.org domain name until 10PM EST, December 2, 2010, when such services were terminated.
Has anyone read the newest Wikileaks stuff that's supposed to be revealing and dangerous? I haven't yet and was wondering what people thought of it all.
