Osama Bin Laden is officially dead due to a military action of the United States, reportedly in Pakistan.
For years the United States has had Bin Laden's DNA on record for a moment like this, to be able to confirm his death. His corpse is reportedly in United States custody.
Now that Bin Laden is dead, the real question is, do you all think that terrorism, IED's, suicide bombers, and so on will actually end? Or will it have no other impact on the war on terror other than a symbolic one?
He was supposedly shot in the head. To me that sounds too quick and painless. He should have been brutally tortured for a few weeks first.
Now he'll burn in Hell for eternity

I won't believe Osama is dead until I see the body! It all sounds too contrived. "Done by U.S. Troops". I wouldn't be surprised if anotehr country's military killed him, or he died of old age or disease, and the U.S. just took credit for it. Maybe even put a couple bullets in his already dead body to make it look good.
