Well its that time that we start to see the Census arive in the mail. Unfortunately so are the scam ones looking to get your information. There are some that are reporting that they are getting long census question airs in the mail asking all types of information. Some have reported that they ask for the persons social security numbers, how many hours they work and what time they leave for work.

A 3.8 magnitude earthquake hit just outside of the Chicago area at 4am. I happened to be in bed with my girl at the time. Just as she was about to make the O-face, it struck. I'm a legend now!

WASHINGTON — The Internal Revenue Service today issued a consumer alert about an Internet scam in which consumers receive an e-mail informing them of a tax refund. The e-mail, which claims to be from the IRS, directs the consumer to a link that requests personal information, such as Social Security number and credit card information.

We have all heard of teens commiting suicide because of bullying/cyber bullying and what not, but this particular incident in particular stands out more for me maybe because she was an Irish girl, and a recent immigrant to MA to start a new life with her family. Phoebe Prince was 15 years old when she took her own life due to constant bullying via Facebook, text messages and in person.

Tonight is the State of the Union or as so many of us think the UNstate of the union. I figured we should have a thread to chat about it.

Who plans to watch it? I plan to watch it, how ever I need to get ready first by strapping down the TV just in case I get the urge to toss it against my french doors.

It was one year ago today that we elected President Obama into office.

Oh my heart breaks for them. I'm sure the Lynn University parents of the missing 6 are just in consolable. They are on my news none stop as Lynn University is local school.

Strong quake hits Haiti, sends people into streets

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti – A strong earthquake has hit Haiti, shaking buildings and sending people running into the streets.

I think everyone can agree that it is so tragic in Haiti right now. It is nice to see that everyone is pitching in to help. I know that Obama has pledged quite a bit of money and we have sent troops down to help. Now Obama is allowing Haitians to come to the US.
