How many of you sometimes miss your favorite TV shows? I tend to miss the one or 2 shows I love when they are actually on, and I unfortunately do not have DVR. So what do I do? I head on over to my favorite website to play catch up... Hulu has a ton of tv shows and movies you can watch for free all in nice one convenient place. My daughter is constantly on this site watching all kinds of stuff. Go check it out, I think you'll
it!
Just recently Hulu signed a deal with Disney to carry some Disney shows/movies as well as ABC shows. Read that story here.
I also like the commercial with Seth McFarlene where he shows off the voices he does for Family Guy.
I'll admit that I have never watched TV on hula - I didn't even know about hula
For the most part I dont really watch that much TV. There are a few shows I try and catch like Law and Order and I admit to being a new junkie. I also like shows on HGTV or Discovery so for the most part if I miss one its no biggie. I will however have to check the site out as now I'm intrested in it. Who knows maybe I'll get back into some of the shows I use to watch prior to that one strike they had a few years ago.
Hmmmmm.. now THAT is a great idea princessb, I am going to give that serious consideration!
I never watch movies/TV series online but there is a few I download as they come out because
we are always a week or 6 behind here is South africa. I grap them from USENET hours after it is released. To name a few:
Just noticed Hulu woun't work for me anyway. It only streams to the US
Hulu may be on it's way to charging users soon.

Nothing free and awesome lasts forever. Case in point: Hulu.com. According to Jonathan Miller, News Corps.'s chief digital officer, Hulu
may begin charging for some online content in the near future.
Hulu, which provides a collection of full TV episodes, movies, and video clips, currently is supported by its advertising revenue. But when asked whether or not Hulu will begin charging for content, Miller said that "the answer could be yes. I don't see why over time that shouldn't happen."
News Corp - parent of Fox - owns a sizable portion of Hulu, along with NBC Universal and Disney, so when someone like Miller says Hulu
will probably charge for content, that means it is likely to come true. Miller does note, though, that his statements are his own opinion and not necessarily the Board's decree.
Given Hulu's monstrous rise in popularity, though, this news shouldn't come as a slap in the face to many people. After all, when a buck is out there to be made, companies like Fox are going to go for it. It's important to note that Miller's statements did not necessarily suggest the entire site would be pay-per-view, so that means certain programs may be exempt from the scheme. I'd expect most movies and TV shows that aren't on basic cable will fall under the subscription category.
Does anyone know of any program that would allow me to download Hulu shows onto my computer?
well I googled and I found a number of different sites that say they know how. I did find one freeware that says it works but I have no idea how good it is. It did look like a good one: Hulu Video Downloader
Let us know if you try any of them out
I love Hulu
.... i didn't know about the Disney and ABC shows--that's great news!
Thanks CK!
I think their commercials on TV are funny too---the Alec Baldwin one is the only one i can visualize though.
