Just curious if anyone has ever tried out (or their kid) "Kangaroo Legs". Two of my kids are driving me nuts to buy them.
Remember at Christmas (2009) well Zhu Zhu pets were the hottest thing on the market at Christmas. Well it seams that quite a few are dying and the little wheels are no longer moving.
Ok so if your child is left looking sad with a broken Zhu Zhu pet then there is a possible fix for it.
As a parent I know how when you fly you try and pack a bunch of kid toys to keep them busy. Well leave the playdoh at home, it is now on the banned list. They showed this poor little kid on TV, he got playdoh for Christmas and it was taken away.
I guess it feels to much like C-4 or Centex explosives. So if you pack up jr remember no playdoh!
Tonight was my son's birthday party. Really his birthday was last month but he wanted to see AVATAR The Movie so we went tonight. Awesome movie - read my review. Anyways prior to the movie we had Pizza and cake along with the aray of junk food munchies. OK son is 13 yrs old, so what do you get a 13 yr old for his birthday? Well here is a picture of what one child brought as a gift for my son:
Nope I couldn't make this story up if I tried. Its actually very sad. Little Hayden Wright who lives in Tennessee snuck out of his house in hopes of finding his dad. His parents are in the middle of a divorce. The father is in jail so Hayden decided to act up so he could go to jail to be with dad. How sad is that? My heart breaks for this little boy, I hope mom gets him into the needed counseling that he so needs.
Its scary to think of how many teens out there are now sexting and not just dirtly little messages but nude photos. A 2009 Harris poll found that one in five have texted nude pictures of themselves. One in five how scary is that? Some of those texting messages have become nightmares of teens.
This past two years two beautiful girls have commited suicide because of texting or "sexting" as its called. Both girls inocently sent nude photographs to boys who then in turn forwarded it on to the masses.
This morning while watching the Today show they had a whole segment on it spanking a child is it considered acceptable or not. So I'm curious to what your thoughts are, do you spank yes or no? If so are you a parent and do you spank when they get in trouble or maybe one of those protective (for lack of a better word) type of spank, like if the child ran out in the road you quick grab their arm pull them back and smack them on the butt saying you could have been hit by a car. As a child were you spanked?
Today the Supreme Court started to hear a case about kids who committed crimes and were sentenced to Life in Prison with out Patrol. Here is the question is it to much? At what point do you think that you can rehabilitate a minor or is it Cruel and Unusual? Where do you drawl the line at this crime is so bad it deserves Life and this one doesn't?
Here are some examples of REAL cases where kids received life in Prison:
I guess I must live under a rock because I had never heard of this until last night. I head about it when they were talking about it on my news when some local kids died from drinking it. Needless to say I guess kids are stocking up on regular old poppy seeds you can get at your local grocer and they are making tea from it. In fact there are many sites on the net that explain how to do this (sorry I'm not linking anyone to them).
