So you see a font that you want to use in something, be it in an image in photoshop, or you want to use it in Word, whatever ... but have NO idea what the name of it is, so that you can download and install it on your system?
I found a great site that has an 'automatic' font identification system, that you link to or upload a sample image with the font in it, and an expert there will try and identify the font name for you. Even if it's a custom font that may have started out from another font, they do a great job identifying it.
How they do it, I have no idea, I guess just from years of working with fonts, but I recently submitted one in an image created by a member of a group a long time ago, and the current members of the group including the artists had no idea what the name of the font was, and this place nailed it right on the head the very next day, even though it had been modified from the original a bit. To top it off, the service if FREE. Great site:

Oh I like both those sites - bookmarked - thanks
Here're a couple more good font sites, for helping identify and get fonts.
Identifont: ask's you some questions about the font to help you identify it.
Fontscape: shows you a bunch of fonts, with names, and then if you like them, you can always go to the site SloPoke linked to get them for free.

This looks fantastic. I can also add that it seems they charge for the font once they find it for you. You can almost always find the font for free download at places like Fontyukle.
