If your new to facebook it can be quite scary trying to find your way around. Facebook is not like myspace, twitter or any of the social sites. First of all there are walls on facebook. Walls are where you write down what is on your mind. Think of it as a mini blog area. Now what you write will show up on your friends home pages so keep that in mind. Now to change your status simply write on your wall (you can do this from your profile or from your home page)
So does it draw the line when a school be it private or public requires its students to turn over their passwords for private facebook accounts? Yesterday while at the dentist with my son I was watching the news. They were talking about a private christian school in the south that is now requiring their students to turn over their facebook passwords. Some students have canceled their facebooks, some have turned over their passwords and some are just not happy about it.
OK this is too funny - check out this video
Well after Facebook had to face off with Canada over privacy issues (that broke Canadian Laws) facebook has agreed to make some security changes worldwide. Some of the security changes will be seen in the way that the third party applications and games are handled, what information they will see. So do you find yourself having facebook pet peeves?
Maybe its those who are playing all of those silly app games...
So Too many social profiles and to hard to keep up with? Well if you have a facebook you can now use it to update your twitter in one step.
What can you share ?

In a move to-among other reasons- make itself more competitive with Twitter, Facebook recently acquired FriendFeed.
Now days with so many different social sites out there and everyone needing to post, blog, bulletin, tweet but do they give out to much information and can it make a difference in their personal life? I mean with sites like facebook you can limit who sees what, on myspace you can set up a preferred list. Well there was a study - there seams to be a study for everything
I have now babysitted my daughters from a distance on Myspace for years, without having a Myspace account, But it seems as of lately they have moved to Facebook. I am not at all familiar with Facebook. Is it possible view thier accounts in the same manner as I did thier Myspace or do I need a Facebook account?
Which leads to my next question. If I need to have a Facebook account, and I find thier accounts, can they tell I viewed thier page?
Make sense? !
