So we're going to blow up the moon. OK maybe not the whole moon but we are really going to do some moon explosions. What are we declaring war on the aliens? Yeah lets piss off the little green people. What did they do to us?
No, not really.... So no trying to hack me please. However, after studying some recently hacked accounts, one person discovered that "123456" showed up the most when looking at 1000 passwords.
A researcher who examined 10,000 Hotmail, MSN and Live.com passwords that were recently exposed online has published an analysis of the list and found that “123456″ was the most commonly used password, appearing 64 times.
Forty-two percent of the passwords used lowercase letters from “a to z”; only six percent mixed alpha-numeric and other characters.
Alright, so I saw this on Wired yesterday, and I was amused. This guy was paid by Wired to take the JetBlue deal where you could fly an unlimited amount of times in a set amount of time. He got the free flights, and Wired set the rules: You must fly as many times as you can, and you have to blog about your experiences. Oh, and he can't leave the airport grounds! Yep, he was sleeping on couches, taking baths in the bathrooms, and meeting all the interesting people that fly.
Saw this on CNN and started wondering how big recycling is in your town. Here in North Georgia, it's not a big thing. We don't have our own recycling center, and very few bins around town.
Facts:
Almost all recycling programs accept plastics numbered 1 and 2. (Look for the number on the underside of a product, inside the ubiquitous triangle of chasing arrows.)
So your the US Government and one of your hard drives fails what do you do? Not just a hard drive but one that contains veterans personal information dating back to 1972. Well they had a hard drive fail and hey sent it back to the manufacture containing all the information who then determined the hard drive was toast. They then sent it on to be recycled. This is the largest know data leak to date. Yep way to go there
A while back we did a story explaining what Google Wave was and how they were going to open up a Beta testing for a lucky 100,000 people. If you were lucky you got picked for it. Well it seams that some lucky winners of the beta testing decided to sell their invites. One man even put his up on ebay. the bids started low when it started to grow, one man offering as much as $27,000. if it was real.
If your not sure who Roman Polanski is well he is a famous Movie Director. Not a Hollywood one although he was at one time, 30+ years ago. A little over 30 years ago in 1977 he (which he admitted) raped a 13 yr old girl. He gave her drugs and alcohol then raped, sodomized and took nude photographs of her. She was 13 yrs old he was 44 yrs old. He did admit in court to it pleading guilty and was working out a plea deal when he fled the US. He has been living in France since then.
Now I know his girl isn't exactly a size 2, but calling her a "Cow" is kinda rude ...
*tap tap* Is this thing on?
Then again, I suppose knocking boots with a cow is a step up from being stuck giving his 'real' girlfriend a tumble. OH!
Thank you thank you, you're a great crowd. I'll be here all week, twice on Sundays.
Does he make his girlfriend wear a cowbell in bed to spice things up?
Ba dum chhh...
Does he yell "honey, I'm home!" when he walks out to the pasture?
Have you ever gotten those emails that just sound to good to be true? You know those forward this to 10+ people and get paid $______ amount of money? I generally get those once or twice a week. Some of the stories are so ridiculous that its not even funny. Like ones that are by "attorneys" yet every other word is miss spelled...ummm hello red flag there.
Anyways I thought I would point out a site if your not familiar with it: snopes.com
