On Tuesday the FBI announced it was going to be watching individuals on Facebook, Myspace and Twitter. Hummm kinda thought it was doing that anyways but ok. So how are they going to be watching the folks? Oh yeah fake friends, what a shock there.
Now I'm kinda curious who's picture wil they use? Old childhood pictures, stolen pictures, who knows maybe they will be some cartoon character. HAHA maybe they should go as "gruff the crime fighting dog"

So what do you think? Invasion of privacy if they want the info they should get a court order for it? Who cares as long as they keep the wackos off the net? Would you be pissed if you found one on your profile or would you shrug your shoulders and say ehhh I had nothing to hide anyways?
They're welcome to if they want to see me posting old Faster Pussycat vids and such. Besides, I don't let anyone that I don't know in as a friend.

Yep agreed and besides like you what are they going to see some boring family photos...real exciting life
What I really love is when I get a friend request from someone I've never seen or heard of before in my entire life and it says we have 45 mutual friends!
The obvious lesson here is to avoid friending anybody on Facebook that you don't know in real life: though I believe that this wouldn't stop any government entity from monitoring you online. Regarding the government's behavior here, if there's a legitimate reason to monitor the activities of somebody, I don't understand what would be so hard about getting a warrant and pursuing the legal means that are at the government's disposal rather than creating fake Facebook profiles and creating an atmosphere of distrust and monitoring everybody. Twitter is rife with fake accounts (their API has positives and negatives) but Facebook is also starting to experience the same problem lately between government monitoring and propaganda efforts and the commercialization of Facebook. There are literally dozens of companies listed at "BuyFacebookFansReviews" many of whom do nothing other than use fake Facebook accounts to promote their websites. I would personally recommend not friending anybody you don't know in real life because there are way too many privacy risks nowadays to be playing fast and loose with your private data.

hey go ahead an be my friend what I gotta lose ? FBI is only looking for the people doing wrong so be it !
