Annoying self executing "popups"

 Hi All

I have this bloody annoying self-executing popup websites that makes it hard not to smash my computer. When I am connected to the net even with browser closed it opens the browser by itself to show me all sorts of useless adds. I have installed addblocker and classic popup blocker onto my Chrome browser and I run the Avast! antivirus add in. This morning I tried SuperAntiSpyware professional and it picked up a Trojan but the problem persist.

What is "zeipgrdw.rtf"? Is it Malware?

I have a file in my "C:\ProgramData" (or "C:\Users\All Users") with a strange name "zeipgrdw.rtf" that won't open up with my usual .rtf file reader (Microsoft Office Word), does anyone know what this file is, and if it's a virus or MalwareMalwarebytes Anti-virus / Anti-malware? I want to be sure it's clean and if my system needs it or not before I just delete it? Thanks for any help!

CMDAGENT.EXE - What is is?

I keep seeing cmdagent.exe running in my processes list on Windows 7 and when it does it seems to hang things from happening on my computer. Like, if a program tries to connect to the internet I would usually get a popup from my firewall program notifying me of the program that's trying to connect to the internet and asking me if I want to allow it or block it, but when cmdagent.exe is running I don't get that anymore until I kill it's process. Does anyone know what this program is, and if it's a virus or MalwareMalwarebytes Anti-virus / Anti-malware??

Diablo - Blizzard - Email Phishing Attempt Example - What to watch out for

Phishing Example: Diablo 3 | Battle.Net | Blizzard | World of Warcraft | Starcraft | Etc.

I've recently gotten an email in my gmail inbox where the sender (a.k.a. "Scumbag") is attempting to sucker me out of my Battle.net login credentials by pretending to be sent from Blizzard Entertainment themselves. Of course, par for the course, the email portrays a sense of relative impending doom (to your account) and you must hurry and confirm that you're the original owner of the account. Below is a paste of the actual email:

Getting DDoS'd! How do I stop it?

Ever hear of a DOS program? I know someone who is having one used against her system at home and she doesn't know how to stop it.
She's saying some kid got a hold of her home ip address and is using a DOS (denial of service) program to bombard her router or modem or whatever so she cant get service. Everything is bogged down.

Windows Security Center Service is missing and won't start! - [SOLVED]

I recently had a run in with the Windows 7 Internet Security 2012 MalwareMalwarebytes Anti-virus / Anti-malware and now I have a red x in my status bar tray, clicking it shows the Action Center saying "The Windows Security Center Service can't be started". After Googling for hours all that I was able to find about this was to press Windows Key + R, type in "services.msc", look for "Security Center" in the list, and set it's Startup Type to "Automatic (Delayed)".

Remove the Win 7 Internet Security 2012 virus the Quick & Easy Way (Instructions)

Last night during my usual blackhat grayhat travels I managed to get infected with the Win 7. Internet Security 2012 virus / trojan. Mine in particular came via the consrv.dll rootkit which tends to infest itself via bugs in popular software like Adobe producs and Flash. Nice. Thumbs Up
