Denial of Service Cyber Attack

Seams like there is a new cyber attack that happened over the weekend and is still causing issues. The attack though was aimed more at South Korea but yet it also shut down quite a few of our Governmental sites here in the US. The South Korea's are pointing their fingers to North Korea

Window XP Exploit hits

Ok first this had no bearings at all if your on Vista or IE8 users. This is for XP users on windows IE6 & IE7 as far as Symantec is reporting. So what do you do about it? Well make sure your updates are up to date and make sure your Anti-Virus and any mall-ware programs are also up to date.

Conficker...D-day tomorrow (April 1st)

Well I wish I could say this is a April fools joke but its not.....it's real. There was a thread on it earlier Conficker = Bad Joke? Or Big Trouble? here on GD.

So the nasty little conficker virus, which uses brute force to guess admin passwords, disables Windows Security Center, Defender, amongst many other things, is set to go off on April 1.
