I figured we have a photography forum so lets use it some (I would love to see others areas)
So My hubby goes to his hunting camp generally once a month over the weekend. Only one son goes as the other two are not so fond of bugs and lots of swampy water (which is why I don't go). Anyways they do have some of the most beautiful sunsets.....

and again its in the swamps so here is more of what they have to go though to get there (my hubby's truck).....

So I'll add pics to this thread over time to give you some views of the Florida Everglades
I would love to see other ppls areas *cough hint cough*
Wow! beautiful sunset and the everglades looks awesome too! So cool that the truck can drive through that!
~karma: i'm countin on it~
It is beautiful there but you also have to imagine bugs that are so huge that they could take you away *think of flying monkeys on the wizard of oz* plus I wont go into the serious problem of ppl letting go of their pythons in the everglades...I so don't do snakes.
Yeah I have pics of water up to his hood. They take ATV's out there and ride them. It is beautiful so I thought I would share the pics. My middle son took them.
I wont go into the serious problem of ppl letting go of their pythons in the everglades...I so don't do snakes.
See we seriously have a snake problem here in Southern Florida:
He'd [the kid who found it] seen recent news coverage about the python that killed a little girl. This snake was much bigger, reaching almost 17 feet in length.
The male snake weighed 207 pounds, and measured 26 inches in diameter. Its stomach contents were examined, but nothing identifiable was found inside, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
"The capture of this large python shows us how well these snakes can thrive in the wild and create a dangerous situation after illegal release or escape," said FWC Chairman Rodney Barreto in a written release. "It also illustrates why the FWC is partnering with other agencies to implement python control measures in South Florida. We will continue to push for additional measures to control the spread of Burmese pythons in the Everglades where they are reproducing in large numbers.â€
I'm pretty sure if I would have found this my bags would be backed to move up north. I really don't like snakes.
... i can only imagine what the bugs are like....oh look it's the redneck truck
Karma, it works every time!

Iowa, unfortunantly
WOW these are so clear, thanks for sharing!!
