OK I found this funny this morning. The lenghts ppl will go to catch a mouse. In the end the mouse is caught (alive) and is being kept till it warms up outside and then it will be released. Yep kinda gives you that warm fuzzy feeling then you remember its a MOUSE. I dunno if the story made me laugh or the pictures...Either way its cute with a happy ending :-)
Jim set bait on the kitchen counter (peanut butter is, apparently, very popular amongst gourmet rodents) and lined up his camera. In the dark room, a strobes were hooked up to a sound-detecting trigger via two PocketWizard Flexes. As you can see, it worked (also, dead on with the exposure. Way to go, Jim).
Next: Catch the mouse. Jim's plan was to let the mouse live, so he concocted a rather cunning trap. A board was balanced on the counter-edge with some delicious peanut butter to tempt the rodent. When the little feller scampered out to take a bite, the board tipped, dropping the mouse (and his snack) into a bucket on the kitchen floor.
Of course, a camera was rigged to capture the falling mouse, although this time it was a conductive strip on the piece of board that triggered the camera — not the sound detector. Again, success, as you can see in the action sequence below.

Um not so cute when he's running around your kitchen... yuck... Clever idea though, kinda seems to defeat the whole purpose of catching a mouse though, hes bound to return
Aww.. that's cute. I don't know why.. but I'm not as grossed out by rats and mouse as most people are. My hubby looks at me like I just licked a dirty toilet everytime I say I like mice.... ![]()

Yeah I would like to say I have two mouse traps that are more expensive. They go by the names "Clyde" and "Baby". Lets see 2 cats - one 9yrs old and one 10yrs old:
yeah I think I can outbeat their cost however in my house the mouse would not survive unless its named and in a cage (which I have 3 of them now - ugh).
