very nice thread and I love all the input. Lots to read and to catch up on. I know mobsters inside and out but not mafia wars (but I do have the app).
i love all of the tips here. i hear that there's a way to rob someone, how do you do that?
Oooh! I haven't ever seen that feature, but I think that's because I just got started on MW. I searched for it and this (<--link MW forum thread) is what I found:
On September 24th, Robbing will go under construction. As most of you have noticed, we never removed the "Beta" tag from it. In the past few months, we've been very closely monitoring what you love, hate, and want from it.
Next Thursday, we're going to temporarily take it down to make it more of what you want it to be. Of course we understand it will impossible to make everyone happy, we're going to really, really try!
There are a lot of frustrated MW users that are upset that this feature hasn't returned yet. Here was a reply from a user towards the end of the thread:
Robbing was taken down in September for maintenanace but now its November and it hasn't returned. Half the fun of calling out your mob was seeing how fast they can shut a persons properties down. It was more interactive and brought more mobsters together.
That and you all look pretty silly having boosts to make properties safe, and there is nothing to steal.
Please return this feature, or better yet if you want to "improve" things, heres a wonderful suggestion. Best way to improve things is follow through with what you have already committed to, then roll out new stuff.
Apparently it used to be a beta tab under Fight that had a screen like the one below--you could rob people's properties.

Aha! Very good, I was wondering how come i never got robbed, but I do have all my properties protected for if/when this feature comes back.

at a certain point dedicate all your character points to ENERGY. (i'd say once you have around 25 pts for each other category like stamina, etc. except for health, i'd try to get that around 110-120, i'd put 10% of character points towards health, the rest towards Energy)

some say it's smarter to choose to be a MANIAC when you start up--for energy purposes.
good new job as far as an experience payout (when you are on your "home page" of mw for facebook).
Requires 28 Energy and gives you 56 Experience points. I believe this will only be for this week...so start now as you can only complete it once every 9 or 10 hours i believe.
Note: and i got Prison Stripes (15 attack, 24 defense), as loot from doing it the first time. Not as good as the Tgiving loot but i'll take it!
