iMacros is a Firefox add on that clicks on things for you and basically got to any link you program it to do ! Some of the scripts are simple some are more complex this is partially based on how complex the website you are using iMacros on !
I can write scripts ! (they will be posted in Premie section)
First step to do is install iMacros and restart Firefox or Flock, it works with both! I heard they have a version for IE but since I'm not a fan I suggest using one of the other two !
Second you can go and get a script in the Premium Members section to get iMacros to work for what you want to use it for !
NOTE: IMHO Flock is more stable than Firefox it uses Firefox engine it has a few addons from the flock website but you can goto Firefox's add on site and all Firefox add ons work for it ! It can even be skinned to look exactly like Firefox ! Or you can let it just the way it is !
Flock was created for the serious social networker because it has built in feature to log and link facebook, myspace, twitter and more all together ! (these features can also be disabled at any time)
I have heard good things about iMacros. Another well known, popular and free macro recorder and player is called AutoIt. You can grab it here.
It's one of the favorites for using on video games, like MMORPG's (World of Warcraft, Star Wars Galaxies, Warhammer Online, etc.) to make "bots" that automate a lot of the tedious "grinding" as it's called in those types of games.
They also have a very active forum over there where they have tons of free scripts to use with it, or to get you started on writing or tweaking your own scripts.
(Speaking of which, we've just added an iMacros script for the game "Mobsters" to give a constant supply of energy in our Premie section. If you have access to our private forums already, here is the link.)
If you have any troubles with iMacros you can message me on myspace !
There are plenty of Youtube video on how to add scripts
NOTE: when you add script make sure when you name it it has .iim tag if not it may not run !
also when trying to record you own macros some webpages will time out, so take out the script that looks like this:
URL GOTO=http://Website.com
This tag is always there when you hit record !
Just make sure it is on the website you want it on before you start it !
Also sometime macros will not work with multiple tabs open so open a new browser window run macro and then minimize and it will run in background !
Also if you want it to loop for a long time dont just hit play, hit Play(loop) button but set it to play how ever many time you want 99999 is max(recommended for most macros)
