So have you ever had a friend or a relative who calls you and says they are having issues with their computer? Or they just don't understand how to do something and they need your help? Well its not always easy to just jump in your car and play the "Geek Heroes" so what do you do? Well there are some great programs out there but most are expensive. If your just doing it from time to time then no need to invest in some expensive hardware when you can simply use a free program like (click the pic to go to the site)
Here is what I like about their program its safe. First you have to download it then they give you a password for the remote connection - its only good for that one time so no worry about them coming back in when your not looking. Its very easy and user friendly - plus its FREE.
So there ya go if mom or your friend calls now you can fix it from the comfort of your home
crossloop is pretty easy to use and download. Simply click the download button in the top right. It will ask you for your name and addy but there is a "skip" button so skip away. I think its easy enought for even grandma to do it but then again I understand how some grandmas are

The one thing I still don't like about remote desktop software, is most of the time the other person still needs to download and manually install something. This is a huge pain when you have, for example, an 80-something year old grandmother/mother/step, etc., who has absolutely NO clue about any of this stuff.
If it could all be done directly through a website just by logging in, and possibly an active-x, or something, it'd be perfect. Microsoft kinda has that going on, but it doesn't give you quite enough control yet. Admittedly though, I haven't really been keeping up with remote desktop software, so I could be a little out of the loop on this one.
