I think this is great! Parents and grandparents getting involved in Facebook as if their children/grandchildren are on is a great way to stay involved. Also, it's an awesome way for older people (when i say older i mean out of college--my age and up!) to reconnect with classmates or old friends.
I've personally have seen my coworkers and older aunts and uncles get on Facebook and love it!
I also think that high school and college users have already been on Facebook for a while therefore not needing to sign up.
Thoughts?
My wife's great-aunt is on Facebook, and she's 92.

well facebook is more fun for them where as myspace was too kiddie. I think its great that they are re-connecting. I know that yesterday it seams like my neighbors that were at my cookout on the 4th all discovered I was on facebook. I had no clue they were there. I mainly have friends and relatives. I dont have a ton of friends and I like it that way, heck my cat has more friends then I to (my cat has a facebook too).
