Ok what does "Take ownership" do? I kinda figured I owned all the files on my computer anyways. Does it lock the file?

Re: Create "Take Ownership" in Right-Click Menu

I created this thread to expalin a little about old Ownership method ! Take Ownership of a Folder or File
No need to download Unlocker or use other Ownership method with this trick !

You may remember me talking about unlocker in old threads ?

Like for example you want to delete "SnareCore.exe" in this pic and you get the following error:
Take Ownership of a Folder or File example

When you use Take Ownership you can now delete it ! You can also use the Unlocker to do almost the same thing !
