Well James its a girly trip where we sit around in our undies, talk makeup and boys and get toasted. Maybe if you let us dress you up as a girl, wax you and put makeup on you.........I dunno.

i totally hate them too! ick. and i have found myself in standoffs that sound very similar to the one you just described. a staring contest that ends up with me screaming bloody murder till someone gets rid of it. i feel your pain. although pictures i can look at. and i have been known to dispose of them myself once or twice. while in actual tears due to having to do so. just try and remember...you are bigger than they are. they can't hurt you. that's what i tell myself anyway...

Yes!! I always end up watery eyed also.
I am only capable of disposing of teeny tiny ones.

Ok my fears..... I hate snakes and spiders. I'm fine if there behind glass but DO NOT bring one near me. You would think I would have no fear of snakes since we have two currently in the house. Middle kid has two snakes - yeah dad bought them. They had them hid on me for two weeks before I found the cage - I about went ape poop on them. I'm pretty sure you heard me yelling all the way in NY. We also had at one time a 7' boa. I dunno I guess my family at times hates me when they bring these things home. I was pretty sure if it ever got out it was going to get me. My idiot husband thought it would be funny to climb into bed to wake me one morning with the snake wrapped around him. Had there been a divorce lawyer open at that time I would have filed. I'm pretty sure he learned NEVER to do that one again. We sold the snake at 7" long (I would have given it way free).
My other fear is heights. I'm ok if I have a guard rail or something (as long as it comes up to my chest area). How ever if you put me on a ferris wheel I completely loose it. I tried it once with my oldest thinking I could do it. Nope about 3/4 of the way around I knew I was dead. I was that fool mom screaming to get me off NOW. Never again. I think that is also why I didn't mind giving up snow skiing - the lifts semi freaked me out too.

Well! When we're all down in FL helping MIW, how about some skydiving! That is the most thrilling feeling in the world. And your straped on to a teacher, so there really isn't anything to worry about... And no real backing out.
i have ALWAYS wanted to go skydiving!! but heights and me...not friends. but i feel like i have to try everything at least once...i may totally chicken out in the end, i won't even lie. but the idea of it is pure extreme sport awesomenessss!

What about Atlanta? Does SM not love me?
*even though I could make the drive in 10 hours*
