Google now is offering bicycling maps. You can access this easy by going to Google Maps and clicking on "get directions" then dropping down the menu and choosing "Biking"

Well nothing like trying to be private only to have google toss out your information and make it public. Besides showing your once private information that is tied in with your email but since they auto choose contacts for you to follow it exposes more then you might want. Here is how to make your information a little more private on your google profile.

GO to your Buzz profile and click on your name. Once there you will see this - click on "Google Profile"

Last night I checked out Google Buzz and I noticed a few things. As soon as I signed up I was "Automatically" following 13 people. Nice I was following my ex, which is something I wasn't thrilled about (I changed that fast). I then looked down and saw some chat messages, the funny part is they were not mine but friends. Oh yeah how nice is that you can be a fly on the wall if they didn't change the settings around.

Here's a nice way to see much larger pictures on Google, when doing a regular search that turns up pictures, and when searching Google Images, by hovering your mouse cursor over any image thumbnail.

• First, you need Firefox (FF)
• Next, you need the GreaseMonkey extension for FF.
• And finally, you need to go to Userscripts.org and install this script.

So I just got a notice when I logged into Gmail that I have Google Buzz now, but I haven't had a chance to really dig into it to see what it's about. I know it's new but maybe someone has had a little time to mess with it already, how is it different than say Google Wave, other than that it's right there in your gmail?

sorry if i should have posted this somewhere else. (i think we should have a google forum-with all its many uses and apps...) anyway, i created a website and have the basic knowledge to get it up. just wanted to see if anyone had any creative and useful tips. and i also wanted to ask about the email. can i get my [email protected] email sent to my regular gmail or vice versa?
