"Most everyone's mad here.
"You may have noticed that I'm not all there myself."
Firstly, I'd just like to remind anyone who doesn't already know that this movie is adapted from the graphic novel (GN) Watchmen. The movie did a wonderful job with keeping true to the characters in the GN. However, at times I feel as though they focused a bit much on Dr. Manhattan. In the GN they focus more on Rorschach (which is my favorite character). Both movie and GN narrate using Rorschach's journal. The movie is long, so prepare yourself. Also, Dr. Manhattan's weewee shows up a few times, so just make sure you can handle something like that. The theater I went to had a bunch of immature punks, and every time they showed his stuff I would hear, "His meat is showing." While watching the movie, I felt as though I was reading the GN...which honestly I could do without. I understood the need to stay true to the GN, but I felt they could have used their creativity to make it feel more like a movie. If I wanted to feel like I read the GN, they I wouldn't have bothered watching the movie....I don't know if that makes sense to anyone. I thought that there could have been more action. Even though the action scenes they do have are pretty awesome. This is a movie worth checking out, although due to its length, I would suggest waiting until it comes out on Blu-ray and seeing it your PS3.

My oldest saw this last weekend. In fact remember when I was chatting on the phone and I had to go and pick up a ton of kids at the movies - they were watching that. I know they all liked it but I'll get more details tomorrow.
