I'm betting around the 1k range if not more.

I'm shocked
Wi-Fi only:
16GB $500
32GB $600
64GB $700
Wi-Fi + 3G
630
739
830

So basically take the price of the ipod and add $200. each on the sizes? Why are you shocked? I would have guessed higher but then again I would have guessed higher then 64gb. I'll pass for sure. Atleast with a ipod you can put it in your pocket.

OK to add the 3g you have to pay an extra $130. to get it - wifi is free but not the 3g so if you want the 64gb with 3g then your looking at $830. but wait you still need a plan. Here is the price points for the plans:
$29.99 for unlimited
$14.99 for 250mb plan (ok that is a joke)
Oh and your still stuck with AT&T for your 3g
sorry but a iPad is a iNot for me.

Hmmm, I thought they were going after the e-reader niche, but looks a bit more like the laptop/computer niche, with the ability to read ebooks.
See I look at it and see a glorified e-reader. Its just a huge ipod touch. I guess if your a Apple fanboy you will rush out to buy it when it hits the stores but I think I'll pass on it. I would take a netbook over this thing.

I'll tell you how I see myself using this: As an up and coming photographer, if someone wants to see a sample of my work... Or if I'm telling people about the prints I have for sale, and want to show them off quickly, I could whip this thing out and show them. The iTouch just doesn't have a big enough screen to really see the details of the pictures... This would do it for me.
As a writer, I want something I can carry around easily. I can get by okay typing on my iPhone, but the keyboard is just too small to really type fast. I could do so on this. Sure, I could have a netbook, but I've heard netbooks aren't great for watching movies and such... And dealing with heavy online stuff. This would do that for me.
I really want one, actually... But I don't see myself paying for one right now. I'm not sure... It's a strong possibility for my road trip this summer, because it would be small enough to carry, and have internet.

Anyone notice what this is missing? There is NO RAM
The chip "handles" it all so basically the 1gh chip also covers the ram. The small netbooks are min. of 1.5gh and they includes 2gb of ram. A CPU that runs the ram in it and only 1gh is only asking for issues.

Single & Not Looking
Any idea how much it is? I can't find that anywhere.
