a lot of people will say it's not safe to use cause of spyware/viruses, etc. but, i've used it and have never had a problem. it's the same as any p2p, ya just have to be careful and use common sense. it is kinda slow though but, i think if you buy the pro version it's supposed to be faster...i've heard some stories of ppl's computers crashing due to using limewire but again, i've never had a problem. there are better ones out there though.

I have used Limewire Kazaa and iMesh and out of those three Limewire is the best , but There are better check out my post in P2P forum !
I agree I wont go near limewire - to many issues that I have heard about. I love torrents. I did that one thread on torrents and it may look complicated but its super easy and once you use them I'm telling you that you wont go back. I tend to like private torrents better because they are faster downloads for the most part. Once you get use to torrents then I'm sure some of us can hook you up with private torrent sites as in invites 
Again I'll be more then happy to hold your hand and teach you torrents.
