Re: BP Oil spill and how Obama and Tony Hayward (BP CEO) ...
I think the whole oil situation is disgusting and the fact that it is still spilling out is not only ridicules but criminal. I think that Obama stepped in wayyyyyyyyyy too late and is doing to little. I think Tony Hayward is a joke and some of the statements he has made have disgusted me, like "I just want my life back" yeah so do the wild life and the fishermen who have lost their livelyhood.
Also where are all the charity events to help out the fishermen who have lost their livelihood? I mean when any country has had a earthquake, hurricane or tsunami we had one fund raiser after another but somehow I haven't seen anything yet. I guess they feel that BP is taking care of the fishermen and paying them but lets face it that is a joke.

It's a complete joke. What's worse is there's a second oil spill in the gulf too. Take a look: here and here.
As if the oil companies don't already gouge us at the pumps while making record profits, and the disaster it causes to the environment and death to the wildlife, all of that oil is thanks to the death and decay of dinosaurs millions of years ago ... as far as I know, there aren't anymore dinosaurs left on this planet to make more for us ... oil is a limited supply here on earth, even if it's a rather large one at the moment, at a rate of a million gallons a day thrown away forever in this spill alone, eventually we're not going to have any oil left once we've tapped the earth out.
We JUST got over (not really even over it yet) gas prices being absolutely, ridiculously through the roof due to an 'alleged' lack of oil supply, and now we're just tossing a million gallons a day into the ocean .. useless. In the meantime, us end users will foot the bill again through our wallets. I cringe in a major way everytime I hear about yet another oil tanker spill, oil well spill, etc., which happens WAY too frequently.
It's just another example of humankind raping the earth and being reckless about it.

this is just so out of control right now and i cant understand why its takin so long to fix and to think that it could have all been avoided if BP werent such penny pinchers, they have so much to answer for, nobody has acted fast enough its such a tragedy

Re: BP Oil spill and how Obama and Tony Hayward (BP CEO) ...
I agree with him on everything he said. So why are we spending billions on NASA trying to find a speck of ice on Mars to tell us their 'might' have been life there a trillion years ago, when we could be spending a large chunk of that money on getting this new cleaner energy source going as our main source of fuel? Once it's going we can move that money back to studying holes on the moon again.
Btw, it didn't take long for the Anti-Bush conspiracy theorists to spread the message that the 9/11 catastrophe was created by his Government, so that we could go to war with the Middle East and get all of their oil (when apparently we have plenty of our own here to let flood the Gulf of Mexico), how long do ya give it until the Anti-Obama conspiracy theorists claim this oil spill catastrophe was created by the Obama Government to kick-start his own agenda into action, i.e. 'siezing the moment' to move to cleaner fuel? Think about how he would go down in history with that positive attribute added to his resume. Some could easily say it's a self-serving cause.
