So, I logged into my Myspace profile today and got this popup notice:
I decided to check it out and Accepted. Then went to our GeekDrop Myspace profile and did the same, and visited my personal profile. This is what it looks like in your Home page after getting a visit:
It doesn't show any time-stamp of the visit, and I haven't played with it long enough to see if it shows just one profile avatar for the same person no matter how many times they visit, including different days, or if it'll show one for each visit, even if it's the same person.
For more detailed trackers, be sure to read all of the good stuff we have on trackers and tracking people here on GeekDrop in the open forums as well as our private forums. And to block ALL trackers, be sure to grab our tracker list to add to Ad Block Plus, also in our forums.
I haven't dug into it at all, maybe one of our members or visitors can.

OK here is the URL for it to accept it:

I don't know if it can be blocked without blocking myspace. However as long as you turn off the notifier then your not tracked - I tested it out and it was fine!
NOTE: The link above is a dead one - I changed around some of the leters in the hash= more or so for privacy. If you want to see the full code check it out on your own profile.
OK I hadn't been on myspace in some time but I logged in and turned mine on. I did find it will only show a max of 9 in the tracking so its one you have to keep on top of.
However this would be great to use if you have another tracker that requires that you identify the person.

I'm actually surprised it took them this long to do it. So did you happen to notice if there is a URL to this that we can add to our blocker list?
