So... didja ever have an awesome picture that you would love to display in much larger form but don't really wanna take it to a place to pay them to do it? There's this nifty little program called... wait for it... *giggles* Rasterbator (guess maybe it's Stroke It's twin brother).
Anyways, it takes your photo after you choose how big you'd like to make it, and then prints it on several sheets of paper for you to later assemble. Now, some printers will not print to the edge, which would require some cutting... but sometimes that edging looks pretty darn cool. There's a gallery of finished projects which you can check out for yourself. I haven't used this yet, but I do have the perfect project in mind for it. Someone sent me a jpeg of a picture I wanted to have made into a poster for my bedroom wall, but just haven't gotten around to ordering it yet... and was having a problem finding the size I wanted to fit in the frame I wanted... Weekend project here I come!
