I'm trying to figure out how to get my ie7 upgrade. It's supposed to be free because I bought the PC and I'm not real sure how to go about getting it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. juliek

Does the ie7 update not show up when you run windows update? I believe ie is also up to 8 now. If it doesn't show up in windows update, you can go directly to the microsoft website downloads page and manually download it.

Ok I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you maybe ment to type a free upgrade to "Windows 7" the new operating system that alot of systems were given upgrades to. If that is the case then check out this thread I did: How To Upgrade Your New PC to Windows 7 I have links to the different manufactures and where & how to get the upgrade.

Julie your going to LOVE Windows 7. I have it and love it!

Deb-You had it right on the money. I'm trying to get my free ie 7 from the pc purchased in october. now i'm trying to figure out how to scan the receipt with my printer. The directions are simple enough but how do I know i've successfully scanned it.? thanks for all the help, you guys...

The scan should save to file (like a picture) then attach it that way. OK just so no one gets confussed IE7 is Internet Exploer 7 (the broswer) and Windows 7 is the operating system. You have a upgrade for Windows7 not IE7.
