Trackers is what really got me into computers and wanting to know more. I was trying to protect my kids on the social sites when a now friend told me about them. I said whats a tracker and he told me to hit his page. I did then he sent me a email that had soooooooooooooo much information it pretty much freaked me out. Mind you some of the old trackers really showed alot of into. Blocking trackers is so easy with these steps - a couple clicks and your done. Plus adblock will update your subscriptions daily so no worries

I also use Firefox 3.6 and this does work. Its very possible that statcounter is using a new URL that we don't have here yet. Trackers like to change around tracking URLs to throw off other trackers & blockers, this is why the list is updated often. If you can locate the tracking url that would be wonderful. If not you can friend me on myspace and I can locate the URL and add it to the list so once again you are safe. I have no trackers on my myspace so no worries. yep just the one click after you install Firefox and adblock. This will not work on IE (Internet Explorer). The list is updated as we find new trackers (or when they are reported to us). At the very least the list is updated/reviewed once a month.

Glad they were easy to do - that was the whole point of the thread. There is no need for long instructions when this works easy with one click.
