Its so incredibly sad my heart breaks for them. When I see those children on tv and they are injured it makes me cry. The country is so poor but hopefully they will rebuild and come back stronger. I agree with you Glove that a good portion will want to go back. I know that there are quite a few now here that would love to go back and help their ppl but they have no way to get back.
It so sad and right now I think the most we can do is give. We have given to the Red Cross for Haiti and my work is in one of the fields that they desperately need so we shipped a pallet of supplies to them though Missionary Flights a wonderful organization that has worked with the Haitians and the money and the items go to them and not in some company CEO's pocket. Mean while I will continue to pray for them.

Don't they shrink heads in Haiti?
I hope not since I'm probably the stopping grounds for them (s Fl). I like my head and I need it.
I do know that they are into voodoo...now I'm having flash backs to my voodoo doll and my Voodoo Curses

that doll scares the krap outta me
I do know that they are into voodoo...

Well there goes the chickens. Sorry sm that voodoo doll is funny.

I posted a poll on the subject so go and vote: Should Haitians Be Allowed In The US? (poll):

Out of my mind
This comes along with the territory of being the richest and most powerful nation around. They need to go somewhere and we have the space and the money to do it. As far as what states they will go to I guess thats for the feds and state legislatures to decide.
About the 18 month thing, I'll wager some of them will want to go back and some won't naturally. Those than don't want to can be made to go back, but if they're willing to stay and work and pay taxes ect; then I'd say let them stay. It would be a win-win situation
