Anyone else watch this show? It's kinda like a (Japanese) game show, with big obstacle courses and funny commentary. Nothing ground-breaking, no plots, just people falling and getting hit by stuff and competing for 50 grand. It's in my book one of the best shows you can watch when everything else is in reruns. I never get tired of seeing contestants bounce back and forth on the "Big Balls" or get hit in the face by a "Sucker Punch".

Herrrrre Comes Conan!

This Friday, May 29, Jay Leno will host the Tonight Show for the last time. Conan will be Jay's final guest, which I think is a great idea and it makes a nice transition. While it will be bittersweet to see Jay go, I'm loving the fact that I get to see Conan an hour earlier every night. Conan will air his first Tonight Show on Monday, June 1.

DTV Transition

As most people probably know already, the transition to DTV is happening this coming June 12. Is everyone prepared? Has everyone taken steps to make this transition a smooth one? or are you so up to date that there is nothing that you need to do. I think I am, although I may have a question or two!

RIP Bea Arthur

In my days of growing up my mother's love for the Golden Girls put her face on our television every afternoon. I grew to love them as well. I had just heard of her passing this morning. Thank you Bea for your talent and memories:

Bea Arthur lost her battle with cancer peacefully in her LA home surrounded by loved ones in the early hours of April 25th.

Free Mobile TV

Free mobile TV could be coming soon near you. How cool would that be. I could so see me on a car trip with the family (those 14 hour drives to NC) and be able to watch TV on my cell phone. It only makes sence this would come about with TV stations trying to drum up more business. Now they can sell more advertising to mobiles. I'm betting the advertising will be different on the home TV vs the mobile TV. Also what about those (like me) who pay for their cable at home? If its Free and mobile can we get a adapter to hook up to the home TV's and

Can't Judge a Book By It's Cover

This was on my local news station and after seeing just a small clip of Susan Boyle sing I had to watch the entire thing on Youtube. Hearing her sing, watching the audience and judges reaction, and knowing that I too judged too quickly made me a bit emotional during her performance. I cried, but then again I cry during disney movies too.
